Dr. Zvonko Spasic, Board-certified OB/GYN, joined Dominion Women’s Health in 2007. He pursued his medical education in Bosnia and then settled in the Richmond area. As OB/GYN Chief Resident at Virginia Commonwealth University’s Medical College of Virginia, he was awarded the esteemed Wetchler Award for teaching and leadership. Prior to focusing his career as an obstetrician and gynecologist, Dr. Spasic worked in family practice and has had extensive experience with da Vinci surgery performing many procedures in fields from plastic surgery to gastroenterology. In addition, he was the first physician on the east coast to perform a hysterectomy using the laser da Vinci surgical system. He truly enjoys a challenge and problem solving to help his patients, who he treats as family. Dr. Spasic works with high risk pregnancies to develop the best plan to ensure the safety of mom and baby. You are able to see Dr. Spasic at three of our Richmond area offices including Mechanicsville, West End, & Tappahannock.
